The Strand Styling Studio 
is a modern, petite, and upscale hair salon
located in the Live/Work town homes at the beautiful 
Market Common in Myrtle Beach.  I provide a
salon atmosphere that is comfortable and drama free. 

Your service will start with a personalized consultation where I will listen to what your needs and desires for your hair are. Then I will summarize what we 
have discussed and I will not start the service until I know that you and I are on the same page. 
 
Together, you and I will create a hairstyle and color that works best for YOU!
 
 
The Strand Styling Studio is a salon that cares about the environment and as a result, we participate in a recycling program as well as donate all out hair clippings to an organization called Matter of Trust.  They use the hair to clean up oil spills.  So when you have your service done here, you will be helping protect the environment for generations to come. 
 
  About the Owner

My name is Darci Ponce and I am the owner of The Strand Styling Studio.  
I graduated from Paul Mitchell the School Virginia in 2006 and have been behind the chair ever since.  I love being a part of this industry and I am passionate about the ever changing trends and opportunities that it provides.  I am so blessed to be a hairstylist that for me doing hair never feels like work.  Having a client smile and say 'thank you for listening to my concerns and giving me what I have been looking for', is why I do what I do; it is what drives me.  Even in this economy, I have been running a successful salon for 2 and a half years now. 

I am confident that I will address all your hair care concerns, provide you with an easy to maintain new hairstyle and/or color, and provide you the product knowledge to recreate your style at home with little effort.  I look forward to the opportunity to share my passion and skill with you soon.

Extras
Darci is not good at sitting still and is currently enrolled at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and is training to become a Certified Health Coach, in addition to a hairstylist.  She is also an Independent Consultant for Thirty-One Gifts , which can be seen and ordered at her salon.  www.mythirtyone.com/darci-31/

Darci serves as a member on the Advisory Board for the Horry County Salvation Army.  She is also a member of the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW).
